Plush and rounded with rich cassis, blackberry, panforte and espresso flavours, dense chocolaty firm tannins and roasted chestnut and mocha oak complexity. Finishes firm but not overly muscular. A great year. Drinking well, but will improve with time. Peak drinking to 2045.
