This reel was made before it was officially coined the "Restigouche" model in approximately 1911. When this reel was made, the model was referred to as the "Celebrated Salmon and Grilse Click Reel". Size 6 0 4 1 4" diameter. This reel carries the Sep 2, 1879 patent on the drag adjustment disc under the handle, as well as the Jan 23, 1883 patent

This is very pretty and matched my gold fixtures well. It is a heavy piece. I was a little surprised because I anticipated it being smaller, however it’s rather substantial.
